Position : Sr. QA Engineer( Locals Only )
Location: Los Gates, CA
Duration: 6+ months contract
Locals only.
Face to face must
The major responsibilities for the Senior QA engineer in this team are:
- Testing of the pipeline applications that manage the end to end encoding process - Continuous Integration Testing - Setting up and maintaining test servers and environments
Required Technical Experience: Test case development Testing using a variety of methods Scripting – any one of Shell/Perl/Python/Ruby Advanced SQL knowledge Unix Test Automation tools and techniques
Required Characteristics: Creative and solutions oriented thinking Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to act quickly as a point of contact for application problems / emergencies Flexibility to shift priorities based on changing business needs Additional Success Factors (not required but very nice to have): Experience with Cloud Computing Architecture and implementation Experience with development for Encoding or Video Understanding Apache configuration Understanding of the database relational model, experience with Oracle Test automation using N-Unit/J-Unit Not Required but if you have White Box testing experience for Java applications, it would be a big plus
