· Position Type: Fulltime or C2H
Pay Rate: 52K Fulltime ($40/hr on C2H)
We are looking for a Jr. Software Engineer with around 3 years of experience in developing web applications using ASP.NET.
Responsibilities:
* Code in Javascript, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, C# for all modern browsers. Debug and optimize performance of a multi-tier Web application.
* Experience with common AJAX libraries: Jquery, Microsoft AJAX,
* Generalize today's requirements and enhance the infrastructure accordingly to make implementation of tomorrow's projects easier.
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
* Predict and avoid potential problems in design or implementation. Identify and troubleshoot actual problems fast, often in unfamiliar code.
* Write unit tests and test your own code.
Minimum Requirements:
* Expert knowledge of object oriented Javascript development.
* Experience in building AJAX applications
* Excellent understanding of web usability and design interaction principles
* Proficiency in developing and debugging C# using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
* Strong understanding of Javascript optimizations, debugging and troubleshooting techniques, Javascript application frameworks.
* In-depth understanding of HTTP.
* Ability to work in a small collaborative team of developers
* Good sense of humor
