Job Description: The candidate will be responsible for the planning, organizing, control, reporting, and delivery of IT projects as assigned by the Design Manager. Qualifications: Excellent communication and documentation skills are a must. Proficiency to take ownership of numerous tasks associated with multiple projects Strong understanding of System Development Life-Cycle and Project Methodologies Familiarity with Java / J2EE, Oracle, SQL, and mainframe technologies is required Business requirements documentation, Use cases, Process Flows Test Cases – possible tasks could include authoring and execution of test cases or review of test plan and monitoring the execution of testing, depending on project Proficiency with the following tools:
Test Director, Quality Center MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio Collect high-level business requirements and prepare all documents that are necessary for the IT project approval process using standard tools and templates Work with other areas within IT and the business, both locally and internationally, to Identify all resources that are required to participate in a project. Solicit input from all areas that must contribute to a project, assuring that time and cost estimates are identified and understood Regularly meet with the relevant business areas to understand business requirements and provide status of active projects. Work with the business to identify, document, and track project risks and issues, ensuring that responsibilities are assigned and resolutions are defined in a timely manner. Engage the responsible business area in the IT projects, during appropriate times, to ensure that requirements are clearly defined and the tested system is accepted Develop project plans to support the successful and timely execution of approved projects Contribute to the overall Design section's resource plan, making sure that all resources are utilized in an efficient manner Coordinate the activities of all project team members, keeping track of the project status as it moves through all phases of the system development lifecycle. Ensure that ITPM standards are followed and all project gateways are properly prepared and executed. Monitor project progress versus schedule and budget, and take corrective action as appropriate. Produce required ITPM documents for requirements thru system proposal and ensure the creation of all other ITPM documents that are required by the project. -- |
