Position: Technical ABAP Developer
Location: Beaverton OR
Duration: 12 months

General Position Summary:
Our client is assembling a best-of-the-best, all-star SAP development team to help execute on that strategy. We are seeking an outstanding SR SAP Developer to provide ingenious solutions, game-changing creativity, expert know-how and respectful mentoring.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Functions as SAP developer on short-duration enhancement projects and long-term implementation projects, sometimes simultaneously.
- Works with architects, functional owners and other IT shared services to design and develop systems that help meet new demands of a rapidly growing international business
- Collaborate extensively with business partners, contributing to a very flexible and agile process and product realization environment
- Address business opportunities through the best combination of SAP applications and other software production and development techniques
- Help project team with analyzing system development opportunities by gathering data, reviewing company operations, evaluating alternative methods and preparing time estimates according to project guidelines
- Provides mentorship and guidance to other development team members
- Has expert understanding of enterprise level SDLC practices

- Build and leverage strong professional networks both internally and with peers in the global SAP development community.
- Collaborate effectively with a wide variety of cultural and personality styles, adapting your communication style as needed to achieve maximum context.
Specific Job Skills:
- Advanced-level knowledge in one or more of the following SAP areas:
o MUST BE HANDS ON CODING (NOT JUST FUNCTIONAL)
o SAP ABAP, Data Dictionary, IDOC message processing, and ABAP Object programming.
o Microsoft BizTalk.
o SAP ERP modules: SD, MM, FI, CO, PP
- Knowledge of object relational mapping, web services, SOAP interfaces, enterprise service repositories.
- In depth knowledge of applications development, including systems analysis and design techniques, problem determination, project control, contract/vendor administration and structured system development methodologies.
- Familiar with Waterfall and Agile application development methodologies.
- Ability to communicate highly technical information in an understandable manner to non-technical audiences through writing and presentations.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to perform complex systems analysis and draw conclusions by relating information from different sources, including root-cause analysis and issue resolution.
- Superior verbal, written and presentation skills required.
- Highly self-motivated, driven work ethic and directed, keen attention to detail and exceptional customer service orientation.
- Apparel background highly preferred.
Experience:
- 8+ years of information technology experience; at least 5 years within the SAP application space. SAP implementation experience in realization, go-live and/or post-go-live support.
- Work experience reflects a progression of increasing responsibility.
