Position: Drupal Developer
Location : Piscataway, NJ
Duration: 2-5 months
Rate: $55 per hour max
The Drupal Developer will support Aequor’s web design and development efforts within the Drupal and PHP framework. This includes custom programming and web application development in Drupal in addition to standard Drupal system administrator functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary resource for all Drupal based website development projects (Drupal 6.x and Drupal 7.x)
- Module deployment/customizations as needed in addition to proofs of concept of potential solutions
- Custom module and theming work within Drupal per project specifications
- Layout and template skinning within the Drupal framework
- Troubleshooting and resolution of any website performance issues if and when they arise. This includes working with IT regarding the analysis of content, links, order flows, registration flows, and/or transaction logs along with other standard website health checks.
- May pick up other PHP-based programming projects as needed (apart from Drupal framework)
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years of design and development experience with B2B and B2C companies
- Minimum 3+ years of Drupal development experience (including proficiency in CCK, Views and Panels and addition to module development and block creation) in a LAMP environment
- Solid understanding of AJAX, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Knowledge of SEO best practices as it relates to coding
- Familiarity with source control systems such as CVS and SVN
