SQL Server Developer / SSIS Developer

Location: Tempe, AZ

 

Duration: 6 Month

 

Seeking an experienced ETL Database Engineer in the Tempe, AZ area who will develop ETL processes for customers. The selected candidate will possess excellent communication and technical skills, as this position will require competence from cradle to grave within the Business Intelligence development process.
 
Key Responsibilities
• Develop ETL processes, utilizing SSIS and Pervasive
• Develop Ad-hoc queries as required, against both SQL Server and Oracle databases
• Generate reports utilizing SSRS
• Support production processes
• Strong Experience with SQL, database and troubleshooting skills

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• 5+ years experience with SQL Server Databases
• 5+ years experience with Oracle Databases
• 5+ years experience with Reporting Services (SSRS)
• 5+ years developing ETL processes utilizing Pervasive or SSIS
• Solid experience in data validation techniques

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Exposure to software development methodologies
• Exposure to the Pervasive ETL tool
• SQL Server DBA skills
