C#, .Net, SQL Software Engineer to join our team in Houston, Texas

Job Summary: Responsible for performing requirements analysis in an Agile development environment while working with users, 3rd party representatives, project teams, and management.

 

 

Required Skills & Experience:

·        Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5, 4.0.

·        C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET.

·        Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).

·        HTML, JavaScript.

·        Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or later (SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedures).

·        Crystal reporting, and Web Services.

·        Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA),Object oriented design and implementation, Code Release Management in the .NET framework.

·        Experience with .NET Design patterns and Deployment strategies.

·        Strong interpersonal communication skills.

·        Self-starter.

·        Must have strong technical writing skills.

 

 

Desired Skills:

·        Silverlight.

·        SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

·        Java, OOAD, COM, DCOM, ActiveX, COM+, MAPI, MS Access, ADO, MySQL, Oracle.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Propose innovative solutions and communicate ideas to the supervisor and to the group.

·        Work with DBA’s and senior team members to develop database designs and enhancements.

·        Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions.

·        Train end users or technical support staff as required.

·        Analyze, install and test upgrades of products.

·        Monitor performance of applications and/or programs after implementation, taking actions as required.

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from four year college or equivalent experience.
