Position Title: Developer (Java) - Senior

Project/Role or BD Task Description and Special Notes. . .

Agile developer with a strong passion for TDD and pair programming. will be experienced in using tests to drive the design of their code; using mocks and stubs as design tools for interface discovery in a way that maintains agility in the codebase while verifying functional behavior.

Major Responsibilities include:

1. Engages actively in building out a dynamic and productive development organization and continuously improving practices and methodology
2. Works collaboratively with technical and business team members to develop and maintain business solutions following Agile development principles and practices
3. Designs and develops applications with an eye towards simplicity, reliability, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance and re-use
4. Provides technical expertise in the areas of architecture, design, implementation, and testing

Skills Required :

1. JAVA
2. RUBY
3. SQL
4. NoSQL (Hbase)

Design and code moderately complex units/modules/products that meet functional and business requirements on schedule and within budget. Perform unit/module testing of software to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications.

Fix bugs, add enhancements, and convert software to other platforms. Assist quality assurance team by providing assistance to testers and support personnel as needed todetermine system problems.

Collaborate with quality assurance in creation of their test plans and participate in reviews. Evaluate impact of software performance, and recommend changes to software design team.
