We are going to do a project to consolidate our Vignette/OpenText portal environment. We need a contractor to help us with this effort. It's a relatively short term effort but our hope is that this will help us break some of the other work loose and it will be extend past the 3 month mark.
Here is what we are looking for:
Assist with the consolidation of multiple instance of Vignette Application Portal 7.2 sites to a single assistance. This will include data mining activities to determine what components are in use (portlets, themes, styles, pages, layouts), documenting the components, and migrating them to the consolidated VAP instance for each environment (dev, QA, production, disaster recovery).
The ideal candidate will have:
· experience with administration of Vignette (Opentext) Portal
· proficiency with HTML, Javascript, & CSS
· proficiency with Java/J2EE development
· experience with DB2
· experience with Tomcat, JBoss, and Apache
· experience testing web based applications (using tools & frameworks such as JMeter, Selenium, HttpUnit, WebUnit)
