Java Developer, Engineer Contract

Seeking a core Java expert who will help build our next generation of client-server products and services while working closely with other talented engineers. A background in financial systems is preferred, as is development experience in an iterative, Agile environment.
Essential Functions
• Join a team building and enhancing financial business application software for high volume, dynamic industry
• Work closely with QA and business analysts to design and implement new feature requests
• Follow best practices related to coding, unit testing and building software using Java in a continuous integration environment
Requirements
• 5+ years hands-on core Java development including JPA___, Hibernate___, Swing___, report engine experience___)
• 2+ years using unit testing frameworks such as JUnit____ and EasyMock____
• Working knowledge of OOD____, design patterns____, data structures____ and algorithms____
• Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies and best practices
Desired Qualifications
• BSCS or equivalent
• Experience with static analysis tools
• 2+ years using Oracle DB
• Experience building large, multi-tenant applications
• Financial systems experience (accounting, payroll, etc) strongly desired
