Java Developer with strong Spring experience in recent projects

Key Skills:  Java, J2EE, Spring, Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Unix  Shell scripting

Development responsibilities include development and support of n-tiered, web applications using OOAD, Java J2SE and J2EE, RDBMS expertise,

and third-party product integration.

This person should have proven on-the-job design, development, and delivery of systems in a complex, high-stakes environment with the following qualifications and

skills. The position requires the individual to work with Business Analysts to provide development services in connection with enhancement requests and projects.

Provide daily legacy and current systems support by troubleshooting reported problems, developing, documenting and implementing solutions.

Skills and Experience:

Ability to work in a large team base collaborative environment

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

Organizational skills.

Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Communication - be able to communicate information to persons with varying degrees of computer knowledge.

Web development.

Software Design, Implementation (i.e. coding), and Testing.

Prefer experience in architecting and implementing enterprise level systems.

Expert knowledge of UML and design patterns.

Expert experience with HTML, CSS layout and Box Model, Javascript/jQuery, AJAX

Solid understanding of Internet technologies including configuration and optimization of web servers (Apache)

Above average experience with enterprise level Oracle RDBMS

Experience with one or more application servers (preferably Weblogic).

Expert knowledge and capabilities in Object Oriented Analysis & Design

Experience in project leadership and software deployment

Experience with configuration management systems and concepts specifically SVN and ClearCase

Experience with both Agile and Waterfall software development processes

Expert knowledge and capabilities in any of the ORM tools (preferably Hibernate).

Very strong experience in Spring, Struts, Hibernate, and Web services.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and minimum of 5+ years experience in Java J2EE
