Position::14790 Onshore Test Lead (DS Geophysics)
Location::Houston, TX
Contract::Longterm

NOTE: Consultant should have experience with DecisionSpace Geophysics Module;

Job Description:   
On-shore tester must be hands-on AND able to lead and coordinate work with off-shore tester.

Requirements:
-Test interactions across complex software applications for use in the oil and gas industry using knowledge of the DecisionSpace Geophysics Module;
-perform software manual testing;
-design and implement complex test cases;
-write defect reports;
-conduct verification testing; perform and test product installs;
-present testing results, assist in the execution and validation of existing scripts and provide further test case development.
-Experience must include: exploration/production geophysics interpretation including horizon and fault interpretation, and mapping.
-Experience with GIS, Landmark software and software testing is a plus.
-Requirements include an undergraduate degree in Geophysics or similar discipline, and 2-5 years of related experience, software testing and DecisionSpace experience is a plus.
A graduate degree in Geology or similar discipline is preferred.
