Required Skills: 

• Should be 4-7 Years of experience.
• Minimum of 3 yrs in NAS Administration / Support
• NAS Certification (Essential), SNIA

 

Technical Requirements                                               

-       20 months of NAS infrastructure experience.

-       Exposure to DR implementation and management..

-       Knows well about different NetApp Hardware models and OS

-      Use NDMP to archive data.

-       Should independently handle NAS implementation

-       Should have other OS i.e. Microsoft, Unix etc. level knowledge.

-       Upgrade Data ONTAP via NFS, CIFS or HTTP as well as Firmware upgrade

-      LUN Management

-       Backup / Restore Administration

-       Cluster Management

-      Data Fabric Manager Administration

-       Configure and administer Snapmirror

-       Configure and administer SnapVault

-     Snapdrive and Snapmanagers

-       Exposure to Nearstore environment

-       Configure the virtual interfaces

-       Perform a volume and aggregate copy on a storage appliance.

-       Access & modify the Storage Appliance's optional settings.

-       Knowledge of Active directory is required

-      Apply Security Processes for Fileserver Hardware..

-      Coordinate hardware installation support with the vendor for the Fileserver Hardware

-      Configure Fileserver to see SAN attached disk storage

-      Configure Fileserver to see Direct attached physical disk drives internal to the Fileserver Hardware

-      Perform Problem Determination/Resolution for the Fileserver Hardware

-     Apply  Security Processes for Fileserver Applications

-      Maintain Security Settings & Access for Fileserver Applications

-      Configure/Maintain HDS TrueCopy or StorageImage and EMC related copy utilities

 

Other Skills / Experience                                               

 

-      Worked on Production systems

-       Datacenter understanding                                 

-       Experience with Storage Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching

-       Knowledge of other Storage tools and Other Technologies

-       Storage Management Techniques

-       Experience on vmwares & Clusters
