Position Title: AIX Unix Admin

Location: Albaby, NY

Duration: 3 to 6+  Months

 

JD:

Candidate will:

·         support Power AIX O/S upgrades from 5.3 to 6.1

·         migrate AIX to Power 7 platform

·         monitor SVC and TPC (Tivoli Productivity Center) for Disk and implement new logging and reporting

·         perform SAN/Brocade functionality and health checks

·         assist with implementing Protect Tier VTL and lower tiered storage

 

The ideal candidate must possess:

·         healthcare industry experience

·         3+ years experience with Storage Volume Controller (SVC)

·         3+ years experience with Tivoli Productivity Center for Disk

·         2+ years experience with SAN/Brocade

·         3+ years experience with PowerVM p5-p7

·         3+ years upgrade experience with AIX O/S 5.3 and 6.1
