Position: Data Analyst

Location: Kansas City, MO

Duration: 6+ Months (ongoing)

Start Date: ASAP

Interview: Phone Screen / In-Person

  

Summary:

Works unassisted to gather data requirements, data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements. Performs physical and logical data modeling, database reverse engineering, source-target data mapping, data profiling, graphical modeling and technical writing.

 

Specific:

The primary objective of this position is to research and document where credit/bank card information is stored/utilized across the entire UMB enterprise in relationship to PCI Compliance requirements and adherence.

 

Minimum:

·         Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc).

·         Proficiency with SQL.

·         Experience with relational & dimensional data modeling.

·         Experience with data profiling & assessment.

·         Experience with source-target data mapping.

·         Possesses strong time management, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.

·         Must be an effective communicator with strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

·         Ability to document and explain complex technical concepts.

·         3-5 years experience analyzing and documenting data and data structures.

 

Preferred:

·         Experience with Sybase Power Designer architecture modeling suite.

·         Knowledge of financial industry and banking information systems.

·         Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
