EMC SAN Storage Administrator

We are looking for a EMC Storage Admin/Engineer to take over for someone who is leaving this Friday. Below is what the individual will be responsible for and will need in terms of skills:

                                

                                 Role: ensure that 1)things continue to run in a stable manner 2)document the

                                 environment, develop/refine processes, draft runbooks, etc 3)help bring junior level

                                 resources up to speed on day-to-day operational management of storage world and

                                 4)identify and work towards mitigating any “issues” that may exist from the departing

                                 storage admin.

                                

                                 Skills:

                                 ∙  Everything that we look for from a Sr. Storage Operations resource in the Symmetrix

                                 space (DMX)

                                 ∙  Knowledge of storage provisioning for VMware, HP-UX, Windows, and Linux

                                 ∙  Ability to use SPA and perform some degree of performance monitoring/management

                                 ∙  Operational experience administering Data Domain

                                 ∙  HP Data Protector knowledge is a nice-to-have
