Position: Java Test Engineers    

Location: Eagan, MN
Duration: 6+ months

Responsibilities:

 

We are looking for Testers to work in the client development team. The developers will be writing code in Java and testing will need to test/write tests in Java using Selenium as the test driver. The length of the contract would start out as a 6 month contract with possible extensions. We are looking at a start date of NOW. We would really like to have testers that have development experience. The job requirements are listed below for both a Java tester is given below:

Java: Senior Software Test Engineer to develop & implement a test solution for large data sets within a Data Warehouse environment

• Proven ability to develop and implement solutions to verify system functionality.

• At least 3 years of Java development experience. The ability to utilize that experience to develop strong test approach.
Should know JDBC
Should have experience using Eclipse IDE

• Should have experience using the following technologies: SQL, JUnit, NUnit

• Flexibility in approach. Equal ability to work on the technical and non-technical aspects of software testing.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills. Must have the ability to present solutions to technical and non-technical project members.

• Experience working in an agile development process is a plus.

• Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Microsoft Source Safe a plus

• Experience working with Test automation tools – Selenium, QTP, Win Runner or other test automation tools

• Should have experience in web-testing and automation

• Familiarity with the principles of Quality Assurance
