Network Engineer

In person interview is needed after phone screen.

Qualifications:

•             Minimum of Five (5) or more years of IT Systems/Network engineering experience, with demonstrated environment and application support history

•             BA or BS degree in Systems, IT, computer science, or related degree preferred; or equivalent experience. Masters degree a plus.

•             3+ years experience working with IBM, Dell and Cisco hardware components

•             Strong virtualization background and demonstrated ability to effectively use VMware

•             Ability to effectively utilize network and infrastructure monitoring and support tools

•             Experience and knowledge with Symantec Endpoint – v12

•             Experience and knowledge with Symantec Backup Exec – v10 to v12.

•             Strong experience and knowledge of Windows Active Directory - Windows 2003 and 2008

•             Strong scripting experience and background, preferably with Windows Powershell

•             Knowledge and experience in migrating code and software

•             Knowledge of SQL Server 2008 R2

•             Knowledge of Blackberry Enterprise Server

•             Knowledge of Windows XP Pro and Windows 7 Pro/Ent

•             Strong experience and knowledge of MS Exchange Server and Outlook

•             Strong experience and knowledge of IBM Tivoli Storage Manager

•             Strong MS Windows Server experience – 2003,2008, 2008 R2

•             Demonstrated experience with application troubleshooting

•             Strong communication and organizational skills

•             Ability to handle multiple priorities

•             Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all colleagues across the organization and with customers

•             Takes a holistic approach to resolving incidents and problems

•             Able to demonstrate process improvement through prior technical implementations

•             Ability to follow complex written instructions and/or create them

•             Good understanding of disaster recovery practices

•             Good understanding of network commands, tools and utilities, including shell scripting
