Location : Los Angeles, CA

Overall Experience : 8+ years

 

Job Description :

5+ years experience with maintenance of a distributed Oracle Database System

•               Deep knowledge with Oracle 10g/11g databases with RMAN and Data Guard experience required

•               Proficient with SQL, PL/SQL, Unix shell scripting

•               Knowledgeable in the standardized practices of Oracle database backup and recovery

•               Full understanding of database concepts, relational database design, and the concepts of data normalization

•               Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical staff

•               Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

•               Bachelors of Science degree with major in Computer Science, Math or Engineering

•               Demonstrated ability to plan and execute large scale database upgrades

•               Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in developing, planning, installing, and maintaining Oracle RAC

•               Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in developing, planning, installing, and maintaining Oracle Streams
