Role: C++ developer with Linx and TCP/IP
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6+ Months
Minimum Requirements:
Skills / Experience
• 10+ years working experience programming on embedded Linux systems with C++
• C++ and OOD are required expertise
• Good embedded operation system understanding of thread, priority, semaphore, memory management, message queue and IPC (inter process communication) etc.
• Experienced working on embedded Linux operating systems with multithreaded and multi-process network application
• Design, implement and debug C++ software on embedded Linux OS for TCP/IP network audio devices
• Take a user interface specification and turn it into a software design and implementation
• TCP/IP Sockets, Http, LibCurl, HTTP Client / Server, XML
• Strong debug skills on Linux platform
• DirectFB graphics interface
• gdb cross platform debugging
• Excellent team worker.
• Pandora, vTuner, Spotify, iHeartRadio client software development experience is a plus
• Experience with UPnP, DLNA is a strong plus
• Knowledge and experience in network time synchronization is a plus.
• Linux boot process optimization knowledge is a plus
Education:
MS Computer Science preferred
BS computer science or BS Electrical Engineering is required
