Data Analyst / SQL Server DBA. Our client in Columbus, OH has an immediate contract-to-hire role available for a Data Analyst / SQL Server DBA. The candidate will be responsible for managing the full technical lifecycle from architecture to support of systems used in providing retail marketing offerings to customers and in maintaining operations of the product management department.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 4 years of prior programming, application development, or database management experience.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills. Can understand complex functional situations and pay attention to details.
• Advanced knowledge of database design, data administration standards, database platforms, and support tools.
• Advanced knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling techniques.
• Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, Visual Basic, SQL, and related database and analytical tools.
• Experience with SQL Server, ASP.NET, JavaScript, VBScript, and C#.
• Experience in database application development.
• Knowledge and understanding of retail pharmacy business and pharmacy reimbursement concepts is preferred.
• Strong business acumen.
• Database maintenance and development with SQL server
• Visual Basic programming knowledge
• .Net developer experience
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet sensitive timelines.
• Requires 5% travel.
