Position:   UI/UX Architect
Location:  Marlboro MA
Duration:  12 month

 

Job Description

BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field or relevant work experience
10+ years experience developing Web-based user interfaces
Expert in JQuery plugin development or another modern JavaScript framework
Expert CSS3, HTML5 and .NET JavaScript development
Experience with REST, JSON, XML and at least one server-side language or platform
Familiarity with writing efficient CSS/JS
Proficient with debugging JavaScript, adding breakpoints and stepping through scripts
Very good understanding of Web 2.0 technologies and UI paradigm
Experience with Flash, Silverlight and HTML 5 and other rich media technologies
Experience with Web analytics
Experience with Charting solutions and dashboards
Experience with modular and componentized UI and mash ups

REQUIREMENTS (the following skills, knowledge and experience are preferred for this position)
Mobile Web Development
Responsive Web development
Knowledge of page speed optimization and best practices
Understanding of http waterfall charts and tools to measure and improve page load times
Understanding of SEO best practices and standards
Familiarity with Photoshop
Background in an Agile development process
Experience with Video streaming
Experience with C# .NET MVC framework, Specifically programming Razor views
Experience with multiple JavaScript libraries
Experience with social media plug-ins and understanding of OAuth protocol
Good communication and interpersonal skills
