Location:
Duration: 6+ months
Description:
· This person will be responsible for analyzing, reporting, and developing applications related to data.
· They will be using multiple sources of data, analyzing trends, reconciling data, and identifying areas for improvement.
· The company currently moves extremely large amounts of data so at times this person will be assisting in data migrations and transformations as well as automating manual processes.
· The majority of their time will be spent completing two major development projects for the company using both WinForms and WPF.
· Responsibilities include:
· Desktop development using both WinForms and WPF
· Routine data imports, extractions, database creation, maintenance, and reporting
· Analyzing trends, identifying areas for improvement, and verifying results for accuracy
· Assisting in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of business solutions
· Acting as liaison between different departments
· Working under strict deadlines on multiple projects
Must Haves:
· 6+ years experience in IT industry
· 2+ years experience with C#.NET application development
· 2+ years experience with SQL Server 2005, preferably 2008
· Experience with WinForms and WPF development
· Experience with ADO.NET Entity Framework
· Experience working with large amounts of data
· Excellent communication skills
Wish List:
· Experience with test-driven development and behavior-driven development
· Exposure to the Nuget universe and/or any big MVVM frameworks i.e. Prism, GalaSoft's MVVM Light, Caliburn.Micro, ReactiveUI, etc.
· SSIS experience
· Experience in Healthcare/Insurance industry
