Job Description
4 A solid understanding of data architecture, approaches and technology.
4 A solid understanding of the ETL tools, etc. that support data warehousing updating, reporting and analytics.
4 Collaborative ability to bring people together and drive decisions.
4 Proven program management skills, specifically related to enterprise data warehouse development and implementation
4 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4 Process analysis and systemic thinking.
4 Ability to operate at strategic and tactical levels.
4 Ability to communicate effectively with clients, developers and end users.
4 Must have worked and excelled in Iterative & Agile development methodologies.
A high level of motivation, team orientation, professionalism and place a high value on treating others with dignity and respect.
RESPONSIBILITIES
4 Responsible for leading project teams and managing activities associated with high-visibility projects that are long-term .
4 Consults with business partners to clarify and define complex project requirements and business cases, including statements of work.
4 Manage a family or series of projects associated with a specific business strategy or department.
4 Responsible for understanding problems, bringing issues to resolution, and escalating as necessary to meet timelines.
4 Interacts and negotiates with senior and/or executive management on a regular basis.
4 Creates and delivers presentations on project goals and plans, including progress reports.
4 Responsible for end-to-end project management, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end.
4 Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing outside vendors. Assist in project staff selection, training and performance evaluations.
Should be able to work independently and responsible for getting all clarifications from various stake holders (Business, Architects, Project Managers & Leads) to produce the deliverables.
