Need Senior Java/J2EE, Flex Application Developer based in North America as part of the Global Surveillance / Compliance IB Tech Application Development team. This opportunity is located in Jersey City, NJ and is long term.

 

Description: Senior developer will participate in application design and development. Consultants will also participate in design and code reviews, incorporate security requirements into design, and provide input to information/data flow. Comply with project life cycle methodology and adhere to IT control policies and guidelines. Incorporate corporate architectural standards into application design specifications. Identify applicable system platform, components, and dependencies. Document application specifications. Provide uniform integration into legacy systems.

Mandatory 5+ years experience in the following areas: complete software development lifecycle (analysis through deployment) and design and development in an BANKING or FINANCIAL SERVICES ENVIRONMENT IS REQUIRED!

 

Qualifications:
1. 5+ years experience in the following areas:
2. 5+ years experience complete software development lifecycle (analysis through deployment)
3. 5+ years experience design and development of multi-tier software applications
4. 5+ years experience Java, J2EE, Sybase, SQL Server 2008.
5. 5+ years experience Web Services / web development
6. 5+ years experience Adobe Flex Action Script
7. Knowledge of version control (SVN) is must
8. Strong Web Application Design and Development experience
9. Experience with both on-line and batch processing using Java Technology, Sound understanding of Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns
10. Enterprise Systems Architecture, Thin Client & Thick Client applications. Refactoring / Reverse engineering of existing systems.
11. Experience with BLAZE DS and LCDS will be a plus.
12. Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment.
*****Domain expertise in Compliance Technology is desired
