Client is building a New Peoplesoft based Datawarehouse to be used by executive level management in the finance departmet. This data will drive decision made at the exec level. Seems the effort has 3 initial phases
1-cusomizing the warehouse
2-all the old reports in finance are in brio and are static type pdf files reports...they will be recreating all these reports in OBIEE to be interactive reports that will be available in dashboards that the users can view.
3-Dashboard creation..will not be the stabdard out of the box OBIEE dashboards but complex and sophisticated dashboards with a lot of fumnctionality to support the Finance community

The description:

• Experience in performance tuning, application monitoring and support of production applications with distributed teams.
• Experience with writing detailed technical specifications for developers; design, validate and execute software test plans.
• 3+ (SWE) or 7+ (Sr. SWE) years of overall IT/software development experience.
• 2+ (SWE) or 5+ (Sr. SWE) years of recent experience as an Oracle developer.
• Strong development experience with Oracle PL/SQL: construction of packages, triggers and PL/SQL blocks and Unix shell scripting.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server and experience in automotive marketing applications preferred.
• Experience with Informatica, and TFS (Microsoft Team Foundation Server preferred.

This candidate will also need to build datamart(s) as source(s) for multiple reports. Scripting skills are also necessary to fulfill the requirements for this project.
Required:
o 6+ years of IT work experience and 3-5 years of Hyperion Interactive Reporting experience
o Experience with Unix shell and PL/SQL scripting skills to write a process to populate an Oracle Data Mart.
