One Year Contract

 

 

EDI Engineer with specific experience with Sterling Gentran toolset to provide support for project design, development and implementation support.

 

Position Responsibilities:

* Previous experience working with Gentran, GIS, Sterling Integrator or Sterling Gentran EDI data translation tools.

* Experience managing high volume file transfers focusing on efficiency and accuracy.

* Ability to offer system analysis and design to allow for greater efficiency and accuracy of file transfers and data translation.

* Experience conducting Business Process Development

* Provides 3rd level support to IT teams Supports migration efforts to new platforms or solutions

* Provides engineering and technical support to business application development groups

* Assesses hardware, software, tools, applications, etc., to support business operations

 

Candidate Profile

* 5 or more years experience working with Sterling Gentran (Gentran, GIS, and Sterling Integrator) toolsets

* Working with and managing high volume EDI systems

* Proven experience in managing software systems, hardware solutions, and/or enterprise servers, as appropriate

* Experience in supporting corporate migration efforts, and transitions to and from different systems

* Ability to understand business unit requirements and apply technical solutions which are high-quality and cost-effective

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

 

Position will be required to be onsite in Charlotte. Some shift rotation and on-call support will be required as well.
