o Skill building in deployment tools such as MDT, Swimage Encore and others
o Hardware and software technical support analysis
o Communications and network systems analysis
o Change Management
o Testing and analysis
o Software quality assurance and testing
o Software automation.
o Patch Management
o Implementing test plans, migration plans, and delivery plans
o Deliver high-quality solutions to our customers to ensure their investment in technology is consistent with their business objectives.
o Enterprise related projects
o Technical meetings and presentations with ACS customer
SKILLS REQUIRED
Ø Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Ø Minimum of 3-5 years of related support experience for Windows.
Ø A comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of computing processes and technology including, servers, gateways, communications equipment, workstations, software and hardware and associated diagnostics and tools. (Specifics are defined/vary by applicable end-user area.)
Ø Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT2008/2010) and System Center Configuration Manager OSD.
Ø Knowledgeable in Windows System Internals.
Ø Advanced knowledge of the Windows Setup process for both Windows XP and Windows 7.
Ø Strong scripting skills using VBScript and/or PowerShell.
Ø Understand Group Policy Objects (GPO), Local Policy Object's (LPO) and their impact on system configuration.
Ø Fundamental understanding of security components & technologies such as firewalls and anti-virus policies.
Ø Intimate knowledge of the tools in the Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK).
Ø Commitment to customer-focused contract performance.
Ø Strong customer service orientation and appreciation of role as ACS representative.
Ø Maturity of judgment under pressure/ability to diagnose level of user need and make work assignments accordingly.
Ø Considerable end-user interface by phone and/or in-person necessitates strong (clear) verbal communication skills and credible customer presence.
Ø Good written skills and the ability to contribute to and/or lead the written proposal process.
Ø Flexibility and the ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines.
Ø Commitment to quality and personal ethics.
Ø Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
