SQL Server Database Administrator

Duration : 6 months

Location: East Hanover, NJ

The Job Description is as follows:

•       Installing, configuring & patching SQL Server 2005/2008 in clustered and non clustered environment

•       Upgrading SQL Server version from 2005 to 2008

•       Administration and Security management of SQL Server 2005/2008

•       Production and development database administration

•       SharePoint SQL database administration

•       Backing up and restoring of SQL Server and MYSQL databases

•       Disaster Recovery & High Availability (Failover Clustering)

•       Working knowledge of SQL Server reporting services.

•       Monitoring & Performance tuning of SQL Server/databases

•       Organise / perform support and trouble shooting for SQL Server and products

•       Replication, Mirroring and knowledge of setting up Remote Blob Storage

•       Working collaboratively in a team environment

•       Working in cross-functional project teams

•       Basic working knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 and Red Hat Linux Operating Systems
