Financial Business Analyst with experience using a vendor product (OMNI from SunGard) used to support Deferred Compensation.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
* Support project activities for the deferred compensation application using OmniPlus software customized for State Farm. Project will be outsourcing current in-house solution to an external vendor * Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information * Understand Accounting Benefits business processes and procedures * Execute the following types of tasks: requirements gathering, testing, training, and implementation tasks, for multiple deferred compensation processes * Build and maintain positive relationships with business partners, external vendors, and other interfacing business partners including State Farm associates
Skills:
* Strong analytical thinking, information gathering, and problem solving skills * A strong working knowledge (technical/functional) of the Omni product used for Deferred Compensation.
* A strong functional understanding of Omni Station, Omni Security, Omni VBA's, and Omni Text Files * A good working knowledge of State Farm's current Deferred Compensation application, processes, and procedures * Ability to coordinate efforts * Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing priorities and needs * Ability to work well with others in a team environment * Solid oral and written communication skills * Ability to see the 'bigger picture' and impacts beyond own support processes * Ability to build and maintain good working relationships between business partners, external vendors, and systems * Ability to multi-task--
