Position: ETL Tech Lead
Location: Hartford/Windsor, CT
Duration: 6+ Months
Relevant Experience (Yrs):
* 5+ Yrs
Technical/Functional Skills:
* Informatica with Data masking experience
Experience Required:
* Minimum of 5+ yrs of experience in Informatica powercenter 8.5 and higher versions.
* Good experience in working in large programs.
* Excellent knowledge on DBMS and good client facing skills.
* In depth knowledge of Design, Development in Informatica Powercenter.
* Experience with Data masking using Informatica ILM will be added advantage.
* Strong knowledge Oracle & SQL Server.
* Must have expertise in data warehouse full life cycle approaches and concepts using DW best practices and procedures.
* Excellent knowledge on creation of technical specs and design and code review and creation of coding standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Analyze technical information for developing new systems and changes to existing systems, and resolving problems and questions.
* Design, code, debug and implement using Informatica ILM.
* Participate and/or direct in analysis and design activities,evaluate alternate approaches.
* Good understanding of business function.
* Ability to work in a tight timeline.
* Gather requirements; write SRS, Business Glossary, Data flow Diagrams Designed, Application Systems Developed, Maintained and
Redesigned.
* Involved in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Extensively involved in Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
* Help in debugging, troubleshooting, monitoring and performance tuning.
Generic Managerial Skills:
* Task Planning and Scheduling
* Team mentoring and work progress reporting.
* Analytical and self-motivated.
* Good communication and interactive skills.
