Position reports to Director of SBC (Strategic Business Center).

 

"At this point we are looking for someone to help to set up the project and to lead the Discovery phase of the project. Upon approval of the output of the discovery phase and to move ahead we would be looking for this person to continue to lead the implementation program.

 

Summary of the effort:

The purpose of the program is to develop a technology solution that enables Leo Burnett to provide its clients with end-to-end management of brand advertising assets across all media types and  insight into the key performance indicators of specific ad campaigns.  The solution will require the integration of entirely new systems into the agency's existing infrastructure as well as the potential enhancement of some legacy systems.  In the initial phase of the program, the program manager will be responsible for setting-up the program, overseeing the definition of business and technical requirements, and creating the roadmap for the development and implementation phases."

Minimum Requirements             :

 

·         At least 7 - 10 years of experience in business, development, or marketing

·         At least 7 - 10 years of experience in delivering IT solutions: within the marketing or advertising business is a plus

·         Good understanding of relational data base and SDLC process

·         Understanding of the .Net technical stack

·         Worked with Quality Assurance (QA) team to design test plan and test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

·         PMP Certification

 

Description:

 

The Senior Program Manager will require a high level of project leadership skills in leading a major program of projects within a large enterprise.  The program will entail approximately 8 tracks of work that will each be led by a project manager that will report into this program manager. This Program Manager will manage a portfolio of multiple projects will interdependencies integrating several custom and package products to deliver a unique business solution.

 

As a Program Manager, this person will manage all aspects of Program delivery, including Initiation, Planning, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment, Monitoring Program Close. The program manager will also need to have a full understanding of how to build and manage a change management program.

 

Under the guidance of the program PMO the Program Manager may also act as the principal point of contact where appropriate. The role will be to manage the most senior executive relationships within the brand and to act as the initial point of contact on investments and approaches.

 

Strategic Planning                           :

·         Develop understanding of business strategy

·         Participate in and support strategic planning initiatives.

·         Understand creative agency workflow and process for broadcast, print and digital.

 

Customer Service                            :

·         Understand business issues

·         Manage expectations of deliverables/process

·         Recognized by business area as an extension of their team

·         Understand the service level agreements and service commitments

 

Change Management                    :

·         Identify and define opportunities for process change, build the case for change, document process change impact and implications

·         Communicate and market change (per communication / marketing plans and strategies)

 

Program Management                  :

·         Ability to manage a portfolio of multiple projects with interdependencies

·         Manage all aspects of Project Delivery

·         Ensure all Project resources are allocated appropriately and are progressing according to Project Schedule, escalating where necessary
