Description

Design, develop, test, integrate, and implement solutions and customizations for Oracle's E-Business Suite applications which include AR, AP, GL, OM, PO, CM and FA. Assure that application design and implementation are consistent with the technology strategy for infrastructure and application architecture. This position is responsible for analysis and evaluation of requirements in order to design and develops solutions to meet these requirements.  This individual will be required to demonstrate an understanding of the business processes and best practices within Oracle E-Business Suite. Position requires excellent time management, communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Person should be able to work independently.   
    

Job Functions

Typical work-related activities include:

• Provide techno-functional leadership in the configuration, customization, implementation, and maintenance of EBS in business environment in accord with industry best practices.
• Provide resource and time estimates for development work.
• Design and develop interfaces and custom PL/SQL objects.
• Provide production support and trouble-shooting expertise for Oracle 11i Applications.
• Perform root cause, gap, and extension analysis and recommend solutions.
• Research and integrate Oracle Applications to meet business requirements.
• Develop/customize oracle reports using reports 6i/10g, XML Publisher.
• Develop/customize oracle forms using forms 6i/10g.
• Coordinate and facilitate discussions between cross-departmental staff on the design and implementation of solutions using out-of-the-box E-Business functionality.
• Document E-Business processes and configurations.
• Provide customer support to internal users.
• Provide techno-functional input for a migration to Oracle Applications R12.
• Develop reports using Noetix for Oracle Applications.

 

Qualifications:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related area.

·         8 years of software development experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience including a minimum of 5 years in Oracle E-Business applications and one full life cycle implementation of E-Business Suite.

·         Strong techno functional skills and knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite technologies and applications such as: Purchasing [PO], Oracle Receivables [AR], Oracle Payables [AP], Oracle General Ledger [GL], Fixed Assets [FA], Cash Management (CM) .

·         Strong PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, Oracle RDBMS, and LINUX/Unix skills.

·         Working experience in R12. Experience of Migration to R12 is plus

·         Understanding of the Oracle Applications technology stack.

·         Experience in gathering and analyzing the requirements.

·         Experience in the following oracle tools; SQL*Loader, Forms 6i/10g, Reports 6i/10g, XML Publisher, Workflow.

·         Need to be proficient in interface design and development.
