Title: PeopleSoft Tester
Location: PA
Duration: 12 Months
Education requirements:
· 4 year degree in Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum years experience in the following areas:
5 years of formal software testing experience in planning, writing, and executing functional and system tests of distributed systems within a structured software development process.
Work related skills:
· PeopleSoft v8.9 or greater Human Capital Management application environment:
· PeopleSoft HCM modules - PeopleSoft Human Resources, Payroll, Base Benefits, and Training Administration, SQR, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Workflow, Message Agent, Query/Crystal.
· Experience in an Oracle environment using SQL/PLSQL.
· Experience in a UNIX environment including script writing.
· Complete understanding of the PeopleSoft 8.9 or greater process flow for HCM.
· Complete understanding of the PeopleSoft 8.9 database.
· Ability to effectively decipher and comprehend both technical and business documentation.
· Ability to multitask and adjust to changing project schedules and priorities.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Prior test automation experience using Mercury QTP very helpful.
· Experience in performing testing on large, integrated systems.
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
· Experience with Black Box and White Box testing.
· Ability to function as a QA lead, as well as, perform detailed testing and function independently.
· Proven ability at writing and documenting test plans and test scripts for large scale, complex cross-functional projects.
· Experience using Mercury Quality Center for defect tracking helpful.
