I just received this new 6 month project opportunity in Cooperstown NY. The emphasis is on design and analysis of their current NAS environment and performance review/tuning.
Storage Resource (Celerra/CX/DMX)
• Someone who can work withhe customer engineers on implementing performance/optimization opportunities on the NS480 that were identified during one of our EMR , Re-look, re-review, plan implementation, execute proposed recommendations.
• Define/bless steps/processes that can be executed, somewhat immediately, to prove/disprove the SAN is innocent when next we find ourselves on the end of an EMR finger pointing.
• Define/bless steps/processes that can be executed/implemented to provide a running status on SAN performance and growth over time, both real-time as well as historical
• Map storage growth on the EMC Storage array's from inception until today. Relook at the analysis originally provided that got us into the NS480 and where we've ended up today so 5 year projections can be provided
