Senior.NET Developer

Work Location : San Francisco , CA

Duration : This is a 3 month+ contract

Rate : Market

Note : Locals Preferred , who can attend In-Person Interview after first telephonic interview

•          Strong, consistent track record of front-end web development in C#, ASP.NET, .NET 3.5 and above framework on VS 2008/2010

•          Mid-junior/senior developer levels (5-9 yrs exp in dev roles)

•          Excellent communications, collaboration and work management skills

•          Certifications are a plus but not mandatory        

•          Depth in the presentation layer (e.g. HTML/CSS/Javascript) in addition to .NET development.

            Senior .NET Web Development Expertise – not only from a technical development standpoint, but an overall higher level of maturity, possibly having team lead or some architecture
            responsibilities in past experience:

o        Requirements:

1.       Local candidates only with local Bay Area company experience preferred

2.       Strong, consistent track record of front-end web development in C# and .NET 3.5 and above framework on Visual Studio 2008/2010

1.       Focus on presentation/business logic layer – 70-80% (C#, ASP.NET, ASP, AJAX, XML)

2.       Focus on data access layer – 20-30% (SQL, ADO.NET, WCF, Web Services , XML, XPATH)

3.       Mid/senior developer levels (5-9 yrs exp)

4.       Certifications are a plus but not mandatory

o        Characteristics:

1.       Ability to work collaboratively with other developers, engineers, functional analysts and managers to design, develop and deploy solutions

2.       Open, clear and honest communication in terms of their work completed and next steps/dependencies

3.       Ability to manage their work independently with limited guidance required post ramp-up

4.       Adaptable and reasonable to change in direction/requirements

5.       OK with small to medium projects including individual requests such as production support, defects and enhancements
