We have an immediate project opportunity in the Atlanta, GA for an QA Tester – Quality Center, Web Apps. for a major media/entertainment client. This position is looking for a Quality Engineer to work on a web, mobile, and platform systems/services. Must to have prior development experience to be considered. This position will help to assure high product standards for software developed for both strategic in-house systems as well as software products that carry our brand to external customers. Must to have 5years demonstrated success in using tools such as HP Mercury Quick Test Pro and Load Runner. 5 years experience programming in VB, JAVA, HTML, PYTHON, Active Script 3.0, C++. Demonstrated basic understanding of relational databases, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, application design, solution development, and implementation of small projects or minor components or medium-to-large projects
Qualifications:
5 years experience or more in a rapid development environment Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle, practices, and methodology. 4 years experience with RIA technologies: Flash, Adobe Flex & Air Basic understanding of data, process, quality assurance and business modeling Working knowledge of MS Office products Basic understanding of network systems hardware and software practice and technology. Exposure to platforms such as UNIX, Windows, or other operating systems.
