Job Position : User Experience Designer
Location : Herndon, VA
Duration : 6 Months+
START DATE: ASAP
INTERVIEW: Phone, Face to Face
DURATION: 6 month contract
REQ. SKILLS: User Experience Designer
Adept with relevant design and information flow software – Photoshop, Visio, Illustrator, other design tools
Ability to write functional specifications for Developers and QA a must.
QA experience a must
Experience in planning and executing successful web applications.
Solid understanding in the principals of user-centered design.
Solid understanding of innovative graphical user interface design, information design, and interactive design.
Understanding of and experience with web technologies including both front-end and back-end applications.
Ability to write online help for users in Robo Help a plus.
NOTES: Prior experience working at small start up companies fits better than big companies like Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.
Candidates who usually get hired have "user experience" in their actual job title not information architect.
