Sr. SQL DBA

Must be able to F2F after phone screen. 

 

SQL Server database administration, maintenance & ongoing day-to-day operations support including installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, troubleshooting, performance tuning, backup and recovery.

 

Requirements

·          Installing, configuring & patching SQL Server 2005/2008 in clustered and non clustered environment

·          Upgrading SQL Server version from 2005 to 2008

·          Administration and Security management of SQL Server 2005/2008

·          Production and development database administration

·          SharePoint SQL database administration

·          Backing up and restoring of SQL Server and MYSQL databases

·          Disaster Recovery & High Availability (Failover Clustering)

·          Working knowledge of SQL Server reporting services.

·          Monitoring & Performance tuning of SQL Server/databases

·          Organise / perform support and trouble shooting for SQL Server and products

·          Replication, Mirroring and knowledge of setting up Remote Blob Storage

·          Working collaboratively in a team environment

·          Working in cross-functional project teams

·          Basic working knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 and Red Hat Linux Operating Systems

 

Desirable experience in:

·          Oracle 10g/11g and MYSQL database administration

·          Integration, Analysis, Notification services.

·          Heterogeneous DB Migration between O
