Description:                

Our Clients Deployment and Infrastructure team is looking for a senior level software engineer/architect to design and build out their next generation live to site/staging application deployment environment. As a senior member of the core infrastructure team you'll play a key role in requirements analysis, software and systems design related to this mission critical technology.

 

Your principle focus will be the development of a new unified system operating across datacenters with frequent deployment of application components, and information retrieval in a large scale highly available active-active environment.

 

Our Client is engaged in a strategic process of re-platforming its internal engineering systems and requires your expertise to support it in its rapidly growing and thriving business. Your experience in distributed systems architecture related to performance, scalability, fault tolerance and high availability will be highly prize here.

              

 

Requirements:            

* 10+ years of programming experience

* 7+ years of Java experience. Core Java experience is a MUST

* 1+ years of programming experience in C++ experience

* Experience with Hudson/Jenkins Plug-In Development

* Git preferably or Subversion

* Familiar with test automation systems and continuous integration concepts

* Proficient in Unix (Linux) and scripting

* Familiarity with Object Oriented Design

* Experience with application performance analysis and profiling

* Large-scale application deployments preferred

* Prior development experience with Hibernate

* Springs or Struts is ideal

* Proficiency in Maven build systems and the Make of build systems

* Solid communicate skills and the ability to multi-task

* BS or MS is required

 

 

Desirable:

• Tivoli software familiarity

• RPath familiarity

• Puppet configurability

• RPM Packaging, Target State Realization

• JUnit, Selenium

• Apache, J2EE, Struts, XML, AJAX
