Client is currently seeking a UNIX Administrator for maintaining, installing, and configuring UNIX based operating systems.
Minimum Qualifications:

Unix Server (AIX), SAN, and Websphere Planning, Analysis, and Design. Setup, configuration, and installation of equipment and software.
Extensive knowledge of IBM Websphere product line, Unix (AIX) platform, and Storage Area Network technologies (IBM DS8000 series, SVC, and Fabric
Individual should be competent in the administration of UNIX systems for the purposes of installing, patching, and upgrading system hardware and software.
Senior level UNIX experience. Configuration of IBM p-series hardware for creation of Logical Partitions (LPARs) and Virtual IO Servers (VIOS
Experience in the building of new systems from the ground up.
Experience with UNIX security measures for the protection of data and system resources.
Experience with the configuration of high-availability UNIX solutions.
Understanding of SAN designs and benefits of shared resources within a cluster.
Knowledge of enterprise backup solutions and off-site vaulting.
Experience planning for disaster recovery and recovery of data due to user error.
Experience with enterprise monitoring applications and alerting of system administrators via redundant paging systems.
Ability to write UNIX shell scripts.
