Position: Oracle OAF Developer
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6 months +
Job Description:
An Oracle OAF Lead Developer is responsible for designing, creating and maintaining OAF extensions, customizations and personalizations in our R12 eBusiness suite environment. As a lead you will also be overseeing and mentoring developers both on and off-shore.
Responsibilities
o Design EBS OAF Extensions according to Oracle's best practice. MD050s will be your starting point, an actionable MD070 will be the end point. This will require extensive interaction with Business Users, Business Analysts and team members.
- Provide work estimates around the implementation of the MD070s.
- Participate and or coordinate the implementation of the MD070s.
- Mentor and coach team members that are learning OAF.
- Review OAF work of other team members.
- Create patches to move and deploy the create OAF components.
- Assure the patches progress to production following the KCI SLDC and Change Management processes
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years experience building applications using Oracle Application Framework (OAF)
- Solid understanding of the J2EE concepts OAF is based on
- At least 6 years experience developing within an Oracle eBusiness suite environment
Other Qualifications
- Experience in SQL
- Experience with Oracle PL/SQL
- Java and OO concepts
- Familiar with the Oracle AOL development standards
- Familiar with the Oracle OAF development standards
- Familiar with calling Oracle EBS APIs and or services from within Oracle EBS
- Ability to gather, relate, and assess data and provide recommendations by applying business knowledge and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service oriented attitude
- Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Forms
- Experience with Oracle Workflow
- Functional knowledge of one or more eBusiness suite modules
- Knowledge of SOA and BPEL
