Job Title: Sr. Android Developer (Only US Citizens and GC)
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description
· Total 9+years of Experience.
· Work closely with business partners, product management and design team to
· conceptualize new ideas and converting them into technical requirements and working
· Closely with your peers to build a killer Android app.
· Independently design, build and test complex multi-tiered features based on high level requirements.
· Coordinate with other teams within PayPal as needed.
· Write detailed technical documentation to allow easy hand-offs to other team members.
· Work effectively to foster a strong team environment.
· Collaborate effectively with peer application designers and Architecture team to solve complex problems spanning their respective areas.
· Employ technical expertise in helping team members overcome technical problems.
· Building mobile apps in an Agile and fast paced setting.
Required Skills
· Expert experience in Android application development.
· 7+ years of experience in software development (design and implementation).
· Delivered killer apps to a huge user base.
· Proficient with Java/C++.
· Strong Android SDK experience.
· Ability to understand and Parse XML, JSON and Serialized data..
· Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment with short turn-around times.
· Advanced software architecture and design skills, including object oriented design.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and explain technical issues to a non-technical audience.
· Familiarity with fundamental web and mobile technologies (HTML5, CSS, JS etc) is a plus.BS in Computer Science or Equivalent
