Roles & Responsibility -
- Past Test Lead Experience
- Knowledgeable of Project Management practices like project planning, integrated project control,
risk management and quality management.
- Excellent test plan and documentation skills
- Define testing scope, approach, risks, and assumptions.
- Report and communicate test status and metrics to project stakeholders.
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
- Experience on different software development methodologies
- Work independently, Effectively communicate testing status to management.
- Coordinating with Onsite / Offshore team
- Experience in managing multi-location teams
- Experience using industry-standard test tools ( HP s Load Runner, ALM PC, QTP preferred)
- Experience in test effort estimation
- Self Starter with excellent Analytical skills
- Strong presence with BA/Users to create performance test plan, strategy and/or scope.
- Negotiating Skills
- Leadership Skills (e.g. provide direction, pushback if necessary, speak up as needed)
- Peer Review
- Manage and maintain knowledge documents
Technical Competencies -
Performance Automation:
- Experience in automation of web applications including applications in Java, VB6, C#Dot Net.
- Strong knowledge of automated tools (HP tools including Load Runner)
- Strong knowledge of Monitoring tools (HP Site Scope,Diagnostics,BMC Best1, HP Openview)
- Experience in leading the team of 'Performance testers'
- Hands on experience in using test management tool ( preferably Performance Center or ALM)
- Experience in Analyze test result and make decision on the basis of those results
- Identify, Debug and clearly articulate software defects.
- Strong knowledge on scripting languages (C,Java)
- Hands on experience on Loadrunner Scripting
- Able to write custom functions primarily on C language
- Have exposure on different protocol like Web, CITRIX, Winsock, SOAP etc.
- In depth knowledge of different type of performance tests e.g. Reliability, Stress, Smoke etc.
- Experience in Capacity Planning
- Experience in Network Profiling & Latency Testing
- Database Tuning and Profiling would be a plus.
