Skills Required and Job Description:

Oracle Database Administrator with 11g, RAC, Dataguard & RMAN. The Consultant should have strong hands on experience in Performance Tuning and RAC systems for Production environment. Responsibilities: •Provide support to development team on infrastructure and DBA Support. •Design and recommend archival and purging strategy with partition tables. •Experience with large databases (multi terabytes). •Analyzing data access patterns and suggesting solutions (partitioning, indexes, query optimization etc.) •Experience with high throughput, low latency database systems. •Work with application development team for proactive monitoring for identifying SQL tuning candidates. Required Skills: •Strong experience in configuring and maintaining Oracle RAC 11gR2. •Experience installing and configuring Oracle ASM. Install Oracle Data Guard, working knowledge of Shareplex is a plus. •Strong skill-set in monitoring and analyzing RDBMS for performance and performance tuning. •Perform database Backups and Recovery. •Extensive knowledge of Oracle RMAN backup and Recovery is required. •Working knowledge of Solaris and Linux Operating systems.
