Title: Sharepoint Sr.developer
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: 6 months
 
The SharePoint Senior Developer will provide functional, technical and architectural leadership to design SharePoint solutions for the corporate portal, collaboration sites and document management sites using industry best practices.  The SharePoint Senior Architect / Developer will also assist with the development and implementation of these solutions and be responsible for conducting gate reviews throughout the system development lifecycle.   The SharePoint Senior Architect / Developer will also have responsibility for identifying improvement opportunities for the SharePoint platform and applications.   Finally, the SharePoint Senior Architect / Developer will mentor company employees to help strengthen their technical skills.    

·       BA/BS required with a concentration in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business, or equivalent experience
·       Experience architecting, developing and implementing SharePoint solutions.
·       Demonstrated ability to interact with the client business community to refine business requirements and to translate the requirements into documented SharePoint technical requirements and designs
·       Experience developing SharePoint prototypes for capability assessments and demonstrations.
·       Experience estimating work efforts. 
·       Great mentoring skills. Experience guiding other development resources on best practices.
·       Microsoft SharePoint Certification is desired
·       4+ years of experience using .NET framework, ASP.NET and C#, ADO.NET, WCF, WF, Web Services, XML, XSLT, JavaScript
·       4+ years of SharePoint experience including SharePoint 2010
·       Strong Experience with SharePoint Application Life Cycle Management and Team Foundation Server.  Experience in use of SharePoint Designer packaging techniques.
·       6+ years developing with Content Management and Document Management solutions
·       3+ years developing corporate intranets
·       Experience with Social Computing including My Sites and My Profile.  NewsGator experience is a bonus.
·       Extensive experience with Content Types and Meta Data including strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management
·       Hands on experience developing Web Parts and SharePoint code using Microsoft Best Practices
·       Experience with FAST Search, Business Connectivity Services, and InfoPath
