Software developer for web applications on Java Platform within a Scrum agile team. Due to new initiatives, GuideWell is creating two agile development teams of 3 Developers each.
Duties:
Developing and testing of front-end and back-end systems supporting an eCommerce site.
Analyzing business requirements, story-boards and similar artifacts of the scrum process, identify integration points and other interfaces between complex applications, designing and writing software to meet the business and technical requirements.
Working with a software tester to identify and remediate defects within the context of scrum sprint.
Interact directly with business users to gather and analyze business requirements
Code in a Test Driven Development environment
Constantly learn and implement the latest Agile practices such as Kanban, Kaizen
Be involved in all facets of software development from design to implementation
Required Skills:
5+ years experience in Java software design and development including J2EE, Ajax, JQuery, SQL, HTML.
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal oversight.
Demonstrated ability to work very closely and collaboratively with a small, agile development team.
Working knowledge of Agile
Working knowledge of Test Driven Development
Demonstrated ability to work in a highly fluid environment with quickly changing priorities.
Desired Skills:
Experience working in a scrum or other agile environment.
