Title: Java with Oracle SOA

Job Description:

 

These resources will be heads down doing development. Specifically WebLogic 10 is needed here. Also, extensive JavaScript knowledge including AJAX.

 

• Design, development, testing and implementation of high performance/high availability SOA based application. Experience in designing and developing Oracle Fusion Middleware solutions using BPEL, Oracle Service Bus, Workflow, Business Rules Engine, Registry, Repository, etc.
• Experience implementing solutions using Oracle SOA suite components (10gR3 / 11g)
• Strong development background with web services and standard communication or messaging protocols in general (SOAP, WSDL, REST, XML-RPC, JMS, Ajax, RMI)
• Experience in design and implementation of development, including (but not limited to): reporting, interface, batch scheduling, monitoring, output management, etc.
• Hands-on admin and configuration for Weblogic domains supporting full SDLC for high profile projects.
• Candidate must have at least 7+ years of development and 3+ years of designing SOA and J2EE based applications.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required. Must be a team player with capability to work in tandem with the development team, various other teams and business users.

 

Technical Experience

• Must have - Object Oriented Design (and UML Diagramming)
• Must have - Oracle SOA 11g development - BPEL, OSB, ADF, Workflow, BPM, AIA
• Must have strong development experience using J Developer and Eclipse IDE.
• Must have strong Web Services development experience, Web Services on with JAX-WS
• Must have Java 1.5 or above, J2EE (EJB, Servlets, JCA, JDBC, JSP, JSF, Swing, JMS) experience
• J2EE Design Patterns
• Oracle AIA foundation pack - Developing processes in Oracle SOA using the AIA framework and components.
• Application Development with Spring (bean configuration, integrating Spring with database, JMS, transactions), Hibernate, CXF.
• Web Development (XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Rich Internet Applications (RIA)
• Database Concepts (SQL, ER Diagrams)
• Oracle database software, MS SQL Server
• Operating System - Windows, Unix

 

Responsibilities

• Combine industry and technical expertise to develop innovative software solutions in SOA and J2EE technologies.
• Adhere to development practices, language, frameworks, tools and methodology.
• Document technical design and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Implement software using established design patterns, industry best practices and enterprise standards.
• Demonstrate proficient understanding of business processes being delivered by the software solution, examine tradeoffs between usability and performance needs of the system and provide alternatives.
• Provide ownership of project deliverables. Provide development status including outstanding tasks and dependencies across modules and projects.
• Work closely with onsite developers to design and develop applications.
• Partner and network with other developers, architects, SMEs and other IT team members to develop solutions in compliance with established enterprise standards.
