This is a Data Modeler roles with the primary tool being Erwin in an Oracle Environment that we have with one of our clients. I thought it you would have a candidate. I have enclosed a brief job description for you below.

 

Job Description

This High Profile Company in the Banking industry which has multiple immediate openings for Data Modelers. These are 18 month contract positions.

 

Data Modeler – open to any Visa Status

 

Description:

•             Experience in enterprise data modeling for large database with over 20,000 concurrent users and high transactional volumes

•             Responsible for the architect and design of logical and physical data model for OLTP and Reference (Meta) Data databases on Oracle 10g and 11g.

•             Organized and able to abstract data requirements into data models

•             Understand the different degrees of data normalization versus its application and performance implications

•             Understand how to design a highly transactional system with performance implications for various modeling options

•             Experienced in keeping referential data integrity in RDBMS

•             Proficient with SQL statement writing in Oracle RDBMS

•             Creating the base tables, associative tables, and views, and choosing and creating all indexes.

Requirements:

•             Bachelor's Degree

•             8-10+ years industry experience

•             Ability to come up to speed quickly

•             This individual must have the skills to understand the logical data model as well as the business requirements.

•             Excellent communication skills and able to work as a senior consultant with clients and business units

 

Nice to Have

•             Teradata

•             Other RDBMS

•             ETL tools

•             Financial and mortgage data analysis background is a major plus

 

They offer all travel expenses, hotel, and car expenses + daily food allowance paid along with your base hourly rate.
