Our client in San Francisco, CA is looking for a Sr. ABAP Developer. We are seeking a senior SAP contractor can pick up a longer term contractor's work in a very short period of time. Must have experience in SAP Plant Maintenance, preventive maintenance. ABAP skills of customized screens, ALV reports, interface, conversion and/or SAP forms are required. Performance tuning and debugging skill is a must. No travel or expenses are anticipated. Position will not require in-person interviews
Responsibilities:
RICEF development, testing, implementation and post go live support including the following tasks
• Business requirements mapping
• Direct engagement in business processes
• Performance tuning
• Actively participate in unit, integration & user acceptance testing and cutover process
• Follow client's SAP rules, process and procedures
• Mentor and knowledge transfer to develops
• Complete technical documentation
Qualifications:
- SAP programmer with 1 to 3 years in Plant Maintenance module or 8 to 10 years in any of the SAP modules and familiarize with recent SAP technologies.
- Minimum of 3 recent years of strong SAP ABAP development which entails at least 5 of the following skill set:
- Experience in SAP screen programming
- Development of reports using SAP controls like ALV Grid, Tree
- Development of interfaces with XI/PI, IDOC, RFC, SFTP or XML
- Knowledge of SAP scripts, Smartform or Adobe Forms,
- Familiarization with BAPI, BADI, User Exit, Enhancement spot
- Development of ABAP Web Dynpro
- Knowledge of SAP portal iView, work set, portal roles
- Experience in performance tuning
- Extensive experience in ABAP debugging.
- Additionally, Good communication skills, Team player, Fast Learner are a must.
